How Orthodontics Work
The goal of orthodontic treatment is the same for children, teenagers or adults – to straighten teeth so they look better and work better.

Traditional Braces
Traditional braces, either made from metal or ceramic, have been used for decades in order to straighten misaligned teeth
In recent years, advances in orthodontic treatment have resulted in braces that are low-profile, more comfortable and easier to care for.
How Braces Straighten Teeth
Braces adjust the position of teeth by applying gentle and constant pressure over a period of months and weeks, bringing your teeth to their new, corrected position.
As pressure is applied and the teeth move, the bone changes shape to accommodate the new positions of the teeth.
Invisalign Clear Aligners
With Invisalign clear aligners, your smile will be gradually straightened using a series of customized, clear plastic aligners that are adjusted over a period of time.
Invisalign clear aligners offer a convenience factor – they are removable for when you'd prefer no one know that you are straightening your teeth.
Clear aligners look quite similar to custom teeth whitening trays and are simple to insert. You can even remove them from your mouth in order to eat, drink, brush and floss.
